Who should take Eyes Wise Zeaxanthin + Lutein? Anyone, including vegans and vegetarians concerned with age-related eye health issues or wanting to add eye health support to their daily vitamin regimen.
What is Zeaxanthin (zee-uh-zan-thin)? It’s a protective pigment in the fovea, and along with Lutein largely makes up the macular pigment. This functions like internal sunglasses and protects the eyes from harmful blue light-induced oxidative stress.
Is zeaxanthin and lutein found in our diet? Yes. Lutein is found in green leafy vegetables like kale, spinach, and collard greens. However, Zeaxanthin is available from only a few dietary sources (orange bell pepper, paprika peppers, and goji berries are examples), but high sources are much more difficult to find in our diet. That is why supplementation is often recommended.

Directions:
As a dietary supplement take two (2) veggie capsule once a day. For best results take 20-30 min before a meal with an 8oz. glass of water or as directed by your healthcare professional.
